Vinyasa

This class incorporates different methods of Vinyasa Yoga. Melissa has been primarily influenced by the art of flow yoga by Kali Ray and Shiva Rea. She has also studied Ashtanga Yoga and Viniyoga. This class moves consistently, and mindfully, through groups of Yoga Asanas. It weaves each posture together with breath and fluid alignment, cultivating awareness on the embodiment of rhythmic movement to unify the body, mind and breath.

Yin Yoga

This is a class, that moves slower, with more attention to longer fluid holds within the asanas, meditation, some lunar flows and pranayama. Taoist theory of Yin Yoga will also be explored through the body~breath. Cultivate fluid mobility and deep strength while tuning into subtle levels of energetic awareness. This class is open to all levels of experience.

Yoga Unwindings

This is a more gentle and subtle practice of moving through the layers of the inner body utilizing the form of yoga asana to unravel, or unwind the body-mind patterns that accumulate throughout life. Both silence and music are used to enhance your experience. This class is open to all levels of experience. Come with a willingness to dive into the depths of your sacred temple, your home of spirit.

Private Yoga Sessions 

Session Price: $100

Private yoga sessions are invaluable in terms of developing the therapeutic benefits of your life-practice. This session will include time for a personal assessment, asana review of alignment and form, time for questions about all aspects of yoga and your personal practice. We will develop and review one practice session for you to begin on your own at home.
